BOARD OF MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS
North Highland College is one of the largest providers of further education in the Highlands & Islands and is an academic partner of the University of the Highlands & Islands. We provide high quality learning and research opportunities at our campuses in Caithness, Sutherland & Ross-shire and on-line.
The College’s Board of Management provides strategic direction and is responsible for corporate goverenance of the College. To complement the expertise of current members we would particularly like to appoint individuals whose experience includes business, legal, financial or property development. We will also consider co-opting people with expertise to relevant committees of the Board.
The appointment is initially for four years. The Board and each of its committees meets at least four times per year and members are expected to contribute to the work of the Board and at least one of its committees.
Membership of the Board is not remunerated however all essential travel and other direct expenses are reimbursed.
